Hello there,
U can answer that question urself if u analyze ur thoughts! Have u ever heard the story of the king who was in search of happiness!

Well, let me tell u, there was a king who had everything but happiness, so he ordered all his courtiers to search the happiest person on this earth. And he also mentioned that if they come across such a person then they should get that person's shirt, so that the king wud wear it and become the happiest soul on this earth!
The courtiers searched among all kinds of people but everyone they met said the same thing i.e they are not happy about something or the other in their lives.

Finally, tired and exhausted they reached a place where they found a beggar who seemed very happy and blissful.
He did not even bother to look at them and appeared so happy. the courtiers asked whether he was happy, then he replied that he was so happy that he cannot describe abt his happiness in words! he also mentioned that there was nothing in his life to be sad about. The courtiers felt relaxed and asked him for his shirt and U know what the beggar said ! that he had no shirt!

So true happiness is nothing but an attitude and being satisfied is the key to true bliss!

The more man gets the more he wants so wants are a cause of unhappiness and also the attitude to have control over everything in life leads to dissatisfaction and finally to unhappiness.

The unpredictability of life, is the true source of happiness as whatever happens, happens for some good!

So relax and be satisfied (It's really difficult but not impossible) and surely u would find true happiness!

Like everyone says true happiness has to start within yourself. If your not happy with the kind of person that you are it's not possible to be happy with anyone or anything else. We can't depend on others to be happy because for a lot of reasons those other people may not always be there and then where will that leave you? Be happy with who you are and if your not start making the changes that need to be made. Good Luck.

Where you can find real water in the desert?

Either nowhere or in the oasis.

This material world is a place of suffering. There is no real happiness for the soul here where everything that surrounds us is death matter.
The only real happiness possible to find here is within the association of the pure devotees of the Lord, who are always absorbed in hearing and chanting His glories. That place is actually not of this world.
So, like if you are thirsty in the desert you go and find oasis to quench your thirst, similarly if you want to be happy in this world seek for the company of noble souls, who have surrendered their lives fully to the service of the Supreme Lord.

true happiness is a state of mind which is very fleeting unless you think of helping and doing for others. we all have a tendency to think material goods and wealth will bring happiness and joy. however true happiness can be found without these being the main objective. helping others learn, learning yourself, being loving kind generous placing other's wants needs and desires above your own are a few ways to start achieving true happiness.

Happiness is an emotion, and emotions are notoriously unreliable.

You cannot count upon happiness at any time; it can come at an inappropriate time, even causing guilt within you for having a moment of happiness, such as a laugh shared among friends at a funeral.

It can flee at a time when you ought to honestly be happy, such as at a wedding of a loved one.

So I suggest to you that instead of seeking happiness, which is fleeting, seek Love, Knowledge and Discernment. With these, happiness is more likely to appear, and each of them are considered treasures in heaven.

In the world? Nowhere.

In Jesus, everywhere.

Joh 3:16 "For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
Joh 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world that He might judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

This is how I define happiness.

Happiness is the absence of frustration. Contentment is being ok with the level of frustration you have.

If you work to eliminate frustration from your life, you will find happiness waiting for you. Vacations are a bit like that, because you can go somewhere and (hopefully) leave all the frustrations behind - to go back to.

In your mind. Happiness is a feeling, which is all controlled by the mind. So you can only find true happiness if your mind is set on it!

If you are not worrying then your mind will be at peace. Thats where from you start to get happiness. 'It is only you who can make your mind to worry and no one else can' (Not exactly the same words but said by Gandhiji) so limit your expectations and worries. Your mind can be in peace and find the true happiness....

Within yourself. It must start there. You cannot look for happiness outside yourself unless you are happy yourself...otherwise how would you recognize the feeling. You also cannot look for someone else to "complete" you. For a healthy relationship you must be whole first. If you are not then you need to figure out why. It is unfair to expect someone else to give your life meaning and to be your crutch.
