No. It's a plain matter of you only being attracted to people of your race. If you should like a person from another race and then decide not to date them because they are different, then it's being racist...

no i dont see it as racist i also see it as i dont want my kids to be the ones in school coming home crying at the end of the day because of what mom and dad did .... you know.... it all comes down on the kids and that isnt all fair... is it... i like the other races just fine .... but as friends... nothing more nothing less... i just prefer to date in my race nothing wrong with that and im sure a lot of people agree unless they are trying to get out of their country or something wild like that lol

Very pertinent question, indeed. I used to date people of my own race because I thought I felt more 'familiar' with them. I only realised much later on when I went out with a Eurasian guy (half European, half Asian) that I could connect so, so, so much better with him.
On hindsight, I don't think I was ever racist because I just didn't know myself well as a person so I stuck to safe grounds.

Not necessarily. At least I don't think so. Our society certainly makes it challenging to date those of other races, to varying extent depending on the races involved. It might just be your preference because of your upbringing or because it is easier to relate to someone of your own race. However, as you mature and/or are exposed to different life circumstances, you just might change your mind and open your horizons! Or not.

If you make dating choices based solely on race, then yes.
Probably not the answer you were looking for, but there it is.

I would say. It's a preference not a racial issue. Would you buy red shoes if you preffered the same pair in blue? Same thing.

No. You might meet someone other race who blows you away and you won't see color.
