You are pretty shallow and superficial to be dumping him simply because he is only 5' 8".
Should I dump my husband because he's only 5' 11" (I'm 4' 11 1/2") or because he's 63 (I'm 40) or because he has blond hair (I have mahogany)??????

if the only reason you're dumpin him is becuz he's 5"8 i'd say that's the most shallow thing I have heard of! And i dont think u should dump him, how ever if there's a deeper reason why u feel da way u do, then just be real with him, be firm, but gentle at da same time, let him know wut u feel, and let that be that.

its unfair for him to get dumped by his love one just because of his height..
He didn't wish to be 5'8ish either.. If you dump him for this, he will lose his self-esteem..
If you really hate his height, why did you date him the first place?
If you really have to dump him, find other reasons... make it realistic..

It is girls like you the reason why us guys end up being a##holes to girls. Remember what goes around comes around, so in the future when you get hurt by a guy and you are crying over why all guys are jerks, remember the 5'8 guy who you dumped because of his height.

Honey if it's because he is shorter than you than maybe he deserves better. Don't you have any reason other than that. My first love was shorter than me and it did sometimes make me feel insecure. Not because he was short though it was because I had an insecurity. Think that over.

if you think that you deserve anything better than him then you shouldn't be in this relationship. if you truely love someone you won't be thinking "what can i get out of this relationship" but "what can i give him" or "how can i bless him" love is selfless. i'm so sick of people saying they "love" someone then decide they don't... and why don't they?? because of reasons like yours.. "he's too short. i deserve someone taller." it was never really love and prolly never will be.

Remember, it is the rise and not the size that matters. Anyway, if you are not satisfied with this answer, then find a manhole of atleast 5'9" depth. hope it will solve your problem.
