I met my current fiance online about 2 years ago. We will be married next year so yes, a relationship founded online can most definitely work. And I have several friends / acquantances that are now married (and happily) after meeting their spouses online.

i know people who have, i still talk to a girl that i met over 4 years ago on a chatroom, just as friends, we never talked about ever meeting as a real relationship. but i do know a friend that was chatting with a lady in england and after a few years and some trips to spend time together they got married. and they are still together and very happy.

Yes, I know many people who met through dating websites and had great relationships - two sets of my friends met online through Match.com and are currently engaged!

I say "YES" I am doing it now. But I suppose it would depend on where you live. My boyfriend whom I met online lives 30 min from me. But we never would have met if it weren't for online dating. If it doesn't work out, atleast you know you tried.

i live in virginia usa august the 30th i took my friend to pick up a woman at the airporthe had been talking to on the internet for 6 months she is from ireland never been to america. they are getting married today. we will see how it works out.

i dont know,i met a guy on the internet and we chatted for 6 months,i fell in love with him and he told me that he would come to see me.But now,we broke up,cause he wasnt confident enough to believe in our love(we live far away from each other).So i think it never works out.He left me alone with no reason at all.Dont put ur hope through the online love.

yes you can work out as long as you stay focus in the relationship and not like jealousy or envy get in the way of the both of yall using the internet
