When you hold it up on the tip of your finger, it should look like a bowl of soup. Unfortunately, if you have contacts for astigmatism, then the shape is a bit distorted and must look for which way the lens folds easily in half. Astigmatism lenses are a little more flimsy and bulky.

if you try to squeeze it together like a taco and the edges come together easily then it is correst. If you put the edges together and they don't meet it is backwards. Also, if you put it in your eye and you vision is blurry and uncomfortable it is proabably in backwards

Easy, it would hurt like hell! Close one eye and try to move your eye from right to left. If it gets blurry or if it hurts you got it on back wards.

Hold it on your finger, and see if the edges go outward.. that's backwards, of course you may need someone else to see this for you unfortunately...
(My daughter and husband wear contacts, and I'm the checker sometimes)
