Depending on the circumstances. If you are in a double income family, contribution from both, of how much is not important. I know with us, as my income is much smaller than his, I buy the groceries, and the little extras we may want. Meanwhile my contribution is being a domestic engineer around the house, more of a physical contribution. Works great. 50/50...sometimes not so easy.

If you are married the who paid for what becomes not the point. I say you pay your bill they pay their bills because many couples would tell you that "all is fare in love and war" because every worthwhile relationship has a mix of both. I hope this helps.

do you mean when your out to dinner or do you live together... cause i usually buy everything when im out with my gf don't realy let her buy anything... but if we lived together i'd probally appreciate the help... thats for sure..
