Yes, I so know what you mean. It seems like they don't know how to handle the situation and like an ostrich, hopes it will all go away in the morning. Just send a closure email to him. This will help you more and he most likely won't reply.

First of all, don't appreciate a creep like that. It will too painful for you to bear. However, if this guy doesn't answer your phone calls, text messages, or emails, then it's time to let the guy loose. It is not your fault that he is a complete loser that does not know a great thing when he sees it.

Most people just don't like confrontation. The same question could be asked about women. If they don't want to date you, then why not just be up front about it and not make excuses. I'm not saying be brutal, "Get lost loser!", just be clear, "I'm sorry, I'm really not interested in dating you." If they do want to date you but are really busy, why don't they make an alternate proposal like, "I'm sorry, I'm busy on Friday... but, I'm free Saturday if you'd like to go." You might not be able to make the alternative time suggested, but at least their interest would be clear.

I never got hung up on men.. There are too many out there to take second place, or put up with silence. You should give yourself a 5 day policy.. no word from him in 5 days.. and you're moving on.

He's wants to 'smoke out' from your life as quietly as he can. Perhaps he's hoping you can get the hint.
The only way u can get him to be honest with you is to just tell him to.
You'll be surprised!

People are scared to come out with the truth, as it may hurt other people and just because they can't be honest with themselves.

Guys are just plain cowards...not good with closures....they're hoping that girls will be there waiting for them anytime or if ever they want to come back.

Put it on the line with him. Make him decide right there and then if he wants to be with you.

Yes, they think they will hurt your fellings. Don't realize it would be better to be honest.
