You can do this at home sweets, just pop it in the microwave for as long as it takes or even on the stove.
You won't find true crispy american style bacon anywhere in england unless you tell the chef to nearly burn it and then its up for grabs if it comes crispy american or what the english consider crispy.
And before any english get on me for this... I was born here and am just as brit as you, I just prefer my bacon really crisp,lol.

I don't know about London per se but Just before I left the UK, about 3 months ago, Morrisons had started carrying Oscar Meyer. But you can usually get 'streaky' bacon in any supermarket. My problem is where to get the good back bacon now that I am in the States! lol

Try Harrod's food hall or in King's Road in Chelsea. They might be a bit pricey and make sure you fry them correctly so it doesn't sog and take note they would shrink.
