if you're tired of the usual routine you're having, break it off and do the unusual ones. Maybe try some other things that you haven't tried before or those you're dying to try. Here are some things you can do. Go to the salon and have a make over like changing your hair style or color. Go to the mall, change your style and get a new outfit that's unusual in your closet. Go to the spa and get a massage to refresh yourself. Go swimming. Go biking. Go out more often, explore new places. Meet new friends. Reunite with old friends and have coffee.

If you still aren't happy, take time to sit back and relax. Analyze and think of the things that probably caused your sadness. maybe there's just some things that's bothering you. think positive in everything you do. think of the things you really like. your wishes and dreams. then do something about it.

There IS no 'ten things'

1) Set some goals.

2) Realise that every other person sets goals and that only sometimes makes a difference.

3) Realise that the difference is that you need to work out WHY you want those goals - really - and how you really want to end up.

4) Set out your goals again.

5) Go forth, and do it!

Ok and you need to eat a good breakfast, try to sleep enough, don't drink to much coffee or anything else, and eat your vegies!

That is a quick approximation anyway.

Ok, get out of bed, take a deep breath and do whatever you have to do to get through the day. No one will care if you don't shower, read the paper, write a novel, jog around the world..... it doesn't matter. If sitting in your pj's all day would make you happy then do that. Stop living your life through other people, do things that make you happy, not things that you think would make you happy. Personally, i find the idea of reading the financial times very depressing!!!!!!!

Jogging, breakfast, reading etc. are the material things.

If you really want to be happy from inside, help the poor, pay respact to your elders, listen to the problems of your neighbours, try to solve their problems, play with the poor children, pay in the charity to help poor children, take responsibility to teach atleast 5 poor children, help the elderly neighbours and parents too.

If you do just half of the things I have told you that will make you more happy- Go out and try.

Getting a job will make your wallet happy. Walking the dog will make your dog happy and keep your floors clean. Eating and exercising will keep your body happy. Showering will keep your skin and everyone around you happy.

Think of what you want to be doing in 10 years. What stories do you want to telling your friends. Then start setting goals that get you there.

Teach yourself all of the known constants of the universe and figure out how they all interrelate to one another? The Nobel Prize will be waiting for you when you finished!

You have to make yourself happy, no list of daily requirements is going to do it for you. Take up a hobby you think you'll enjoy, or focus on your spirituality, or try to identify what's upsetting you and find a way to get rid of it.
