Yes the bible is the best manipulater of the mass ever. Come on think about it the bible has actually got people to believe theirs an invisible man who lives in the sky and he sees everything you do. he also has a list of ten things he doesnt want you to do and if you do them he will send you to a place where you will burn and live in pain forever.... BUT he loves you. If you dont believe the bible manipulates think of all the wars we've been taught most of them have been over religion. Some of the most bloody and brutal wars have been in the name of god example the crusade's. which is nothing more then people fighting because god told them to.

The Bible, the GITA and the Quran are literary/religious books guiding people to lead a pure and pious life.

It is the preachers of the religions, whoever it might be, who are the culprits and who are responsible for manipulating the masses. No religion speaks bad against another religion. The preacher is the manipulator and he himself is not a true follower of the religion he endorses.

If a priest of a church is making use of his knowledge of the bible to manipulate the masses and convert them to Christianity then he should be condemned as "Saturn" as said in the bible and should be debarred from holding such posts. People so converted for the money offered are not Christians but just "money mongerers" whose financial status has been wrongly used for religious purposes.

Let me think about that. Yes, the Bible is a good way.

To really use it effectively to manipulate the masses, you would have to take a lot of the stuff in the Bible, twist it out of context, warp it to support your statements, discard anything that doesn't fit in with your philosophy, make up stuff to fill in the gaps (using statements starting with "We can only surmise..."), threaten those who resist, challenge, question or debate with Bible backed threats of damnation, hellfire, etc.

And when we finally come to the end of our manipulative, judgemental, fear-mongering lives, we can be laid to rest with our favorite weapon enfolded in our hands, right on our chests.

Jesus had already told about manipulators. But let us be correct follower of Bible/ Jesus. Bible can be used as daily bread, Medicine and surgery. We can find answer for all situations. What we need to do is sit alone with prayer and read. all are hidden inside.

No - because individual interpretations may differ, as the bible is a work of literature and can therefore produce ambiguity.
