We all eat eggs - they're yummy boiled or fried. But why? They come from a chickens bum and they can actually turn into chickens if left. I wouldn't eat something from a dogs bum... Would you?

Rubbish

Unfirtilised eggs cannot hatch into a chicken

Several people also got the "bum" bit wrong as well. Chickens have a "vent" this is the same hole for waste and eggs.

And no, they don't pee in case you're thinking of making another mistake

Why do you eat chicken, it comes from the egg that came from a chickens but and can produce more eggs.

We eat them because they taste nice.

Oh and it doesn't come from their bum, it comes from their reproductive system the same as any other animals.

Grow up.
They don't actually come from the chickens bum (ask your parents about it). Without being fertilised, the eggs will 'actually' rot, not turn into chickens.
You have a lot to learn

Not all eggs with turn into a chicken. Only the fertilized ones.

We don't eat fertilized eggs, they won't turn into chicks if left. That's why if you crack open an egg and find blood in it, you throw it away. But most things that surround us, what we eat and wear are weird if you think about where they come from -- for example, the crimson dye used in lipstick is made from crushed insects. But what are you going to do? Stop wearing lipstick?

To be technical, they do not come from a chicken's bum. They come from a special area, and only turn into chicks if fertilized.

they don't come from a chicken's bum and if you buy them from the store they are not fertilized/ They can't turn into a chick. We eat them because they are ever so good.

Because somewhere in history, an ancient person was hungry and they found an egg and tried it. Imagine how gross it must have been before fire was harnessed and cooking developed. LOL! Well, people eat them raw even today. It makes you wonder why people eat a lot of foods. Like lobster...pretty scary looking...but sure is deeelish!
