1. The Open Championship
2. The United States Open
3. The Masters
4. The PGA Championship
5. The United States Amateur
6. The British Amateur
7. Pebble Beach Pro-Am
8. The Player's Championship
9. The Memorial
10. The Bushwood Country Club Annual Caddy Day Tournament

The Open is first because it is the oldest and crowns the year's Champion golfer, the U.S. Open is second because it is the National Championship of American golf (also for both they are exactly what they say, open. You and I could play if we could qualify,) the Masters is third because of its respect for the purity of golf and Bobby Jones's greatness and the beauty of the Augusta National. The Amateur championships are next because the players are just that, players, not professionals and they are as old as the Opens. Pebble Beach is next simply because it is played at Pebble Beach (with two other courses thrown in, but you play Pebble twice.) The Player's is next because of the money and the field, the Memorial is ninth because it is Jack's tourney and how they memorialize great golfers of yore. And finally golf wouldn't be golf without Caddyshack, so Danny Noonan's triumph on the 18th needs to be watched repeatedly.
