At 60 your dad probably has what he needs. Take him to dinner or get a gift certificate for his favorite restaurant, Tell him how much you love him and spend time with him. You can spend the day with him doing dad/son stuff like fishing or go camp-out. Go play pool with him or just do something with him that he enjoys. Throw a party if he likes that sort of stuff. If you usually don't see much of each other he will appreciate you taking time out for him.

well he MUST like something surely?? Golf or something fatherish like that??? If he has any interest in a hobby get him a voucher. Failing that what about a nice meal out? You dont say if he has a partner - if he does a meal would do for both of them, or a weekend away. Failing that - a nice knitted jumper!!!! Sorry I aint much help but you're not giving us much to work with!!!

A bottle of champagne with a personalised label/message. Not too expensive, easy to order online and then delivered to his door.

Give him a hug, then a kiss, then say I Love You Dad! You're the best! i think that's the best gift!
And then if you want something material to give him, a hand made gift will do...
