If you can keep up then only you can be in.

Maybe your neighbor is not religious and does not want prayers. Instead of guessing, try to simply ask her what you as a neighbor can do. Some people are going to not be nice no matter what you do. I would just forget it and feel good inside that you were nice.

Ever try to lead a mule that doesn't want you holding it's reins? The solution to you problem is similar. It may be that she doesn't like you and has a hard time expressing it in a modest manner. Not everyone in the world will get along with everyone else. If someone does seem to enjoy your company don't enforce your company one them. This may sound blunt but it's the best way I have found to deal with people.

We have a saying in the Netherlands; its easier to catch a fly using honey than vinigar (it loses its swing when translated but you probably know what I mean), however too much honey can make it drown!
Be nice but don't overdo it. Be reasonable and strict. Just let her be, I don't see why it is important for you to get along, so it is difficult to give you specific advice. Good luck!

Nothing fails like prayer. Talking to air won't accomplish anything, except perhaps keep you out of your neighbor's hair for a while.

Apparently, your neighbor doesn't like you. It could be just a clash between your personality and hers. Luckily, nobody is required to like their neighbors. You can live peaceably next to someone even if you don't like each other.

Try to not be offended by your neighbor, and instead just figure out the minimum required to live peaceably next to each other. Try talking to your neighbor about issues that are most important to you and ask her what issues are most important to her. Try to figure out what compromises you can agree to that keep the peace.

In any case, talking to your neighbor about any issues you have with her is time better spent than talking to the air.

My mom used to have a mantra she would repeat when she ran into difficult people. She always said it several times after we ran into my dad's ex business partner. I forget what it was but it went something like, God Loves You, I Love You, May God Bless You. Her reasoning was if she said it often enough maybe it would come true. Who knowns.

If she doesn't like it when you do nice things for her then just leave her alone. Maybe she doesn't want to be bothered. Just keep an eye out for her but don't let her know you are watching.

Why do you care? Leave her alone because you're probably being a pest. But leaving her alone doesn't mean be rude and not wave, gossip about her etc. Be that religious person you profess to be. If not, you're just another Sunday Christian.

What is your definition of being "nice"? Are you talking about religion to her? Did she ask you for your help? If you have been preachy, or if you are imposing, don't be surprised if she avoids you. Leave her alone. If she doesn't want to be your friend, leave her alone. Why do you have to pray for her? Did she ask you to do that? How much respect are you really showing?

if i would be in your place, i would not try to be nice more than twice. there are some people who just want that others may try to please tham.and, i don't like those people. so, just ignore your neighbour.

leave the problem in to God's hands. It will be solved immediately if you abandon the problem and see it in a detached way
