The only thing you can do is explain to him how important it is to you and let him know how happy it will make you. If there is something you can do in exchange for his discomfort bring it up...
Most importantly, ask him why he does not want to do it... And make sure you really "listen" and "understand" the answer. Make sure that really understand his concerns, and when you do respond and deal specifcally with those concerns. Most differences can be resolved if both spouses are listening to each other and really understanding each others concerns.

If he is still not interested then you will just have to accept that. There are no secret methods to change his mind. It is up to you to decide how upset you want to let his refusal upset you...

you don't ....manipulation by any other name is still dirty pool. your only option is to make some kind of a bargain with him-you know, if you'll do this then I'll do that-and make him an offer too good to refuse. And no, bargaining sex is also dirty pool, unless you really want to make sex a commodity in your marriage. However, foot massages, car detailing, steaks-on-the-grill and/or not having his mom-in-law visit for a month is fair game....

best wishes,

Tell him how important it is to you and ask him.If it's something he hates though how will you enjoy yourself if he is miserable. If it's something you can do w/out him why not do it.Or ask him if it's OK to bring a friend that both of you know instead of him.If all else fails trade him for something he really wants that you don't like to do.

Maybe tell him that, if he really loves you, prove it by doing what you ask for him to do. Or maybe the reason why he doesn't want to do it, because it is bad....and he sees no reason in doing it.
But, if you love him, maybe you can forget about your favor, accept his decision...it is better for him not to do it, than to do it even it is against his will...ryt?
