Costa coffee upstairs in paperchase on Tottenham Court Road isn't bad. I prefer Cafe Nero which is further up the road near M&S but my absolute fave is the Italian Deli on Store Street just by the traffic lights at the Gower Street end. Cheap cheerful and they don't hassle you to move on. Plus the pastas for lunch are really rather good.

The best coffee shop isn't anywhere near there but in east twickenham just before richmond bridge called Mochastop. Thier cheap, friendly and they do the yummiest food!
