One, vist the Empire State Building. Two, you might want to check out some of the musuems in New York. Three, you have to take a walk through Central Park. Four, if your interested in reading, check out the New York Public Library. Five, check out Shea and Yankee Statiums, just to say that you were there. Six, cheap shops in Chinatown. Seven, real shopping along 34th Street and around Times Square. Eight, visit the United Nations, I've been there and its really cool place. Nine, to eat go to the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square, its great. Ten, of course, to pay tribute, vist Ground Zero to pay repects and to visit history.

16. chelsea place- italian restaurant ( need a reservation)on the bottom floor- not charged a cover charge to go into the bar with the band if you dine at this restaurant. fun after 9:00 p.m.
17. ferrara's bakery in little italy
18. ask a cab driver (who speaks english) or your concierge in your hotel the name of the street where many italian bakery stores are located- we did that and it was fun and fattening.

25. if you go to the statue of liberty it will consume a whole lot of time and you will be very cold-not recommended

make your reservations at least 45 days out to the different restaurants. in the case of il malino's you should try 60 days out or sooner and then you still might need the help of your hotel concierge!
make your play tickets and television tickets as early as possible but at least 90 to 120 days out!

after the plays are out stay around your theatre to catch a cab. many police are on each corner but still take my recommendation. i'm not trying to scare you but if you are from out of town then you are not familiar with the area so that is why i suggest you stay close to your theatre to catch a cab!

have a great time!!!!!!!!
remember, dress warm!!!
