I dont understand it. im getting signs...dreams. and feel lost of energy. im meeting lots of people with these beleifs when 6 years ago i diddnt even know what wiccan was. does this mean that this is whats right for me???? or is it a test???

Hi, the pagan faiths such as shamanism and wicca (witchcraft) are surprisingly popular. I would say I'm spiritually undecided, but if I had to chose I religion I would class myself as Wiccan. I was a practicing witch for many years, but having been brought up as a christian from a very early age, it was too difficult to turn my back on the beliefs I'd always had.
I would advise you to learn all you can about Paganism, and remember there are several different types. This will allow you to make an informed decision, and ensure that there would be no nasty surprises if you did commit yourself to bein a pagan. However, the signs and dreams probably reflect the fact that you're thinking about it, and these thoughts are going into your subconscious.
You can go to this site (I created it actually!!) to learn more about paganism and wicca. There's lots of sites on the web, steer clear of the dodgy ones (sites which want to make money out of you, or make you join a weird cult).
I love Paganism for the way that it keeps its traditional roots, yet moves with the times (in some ways unlike the christian church). It accept all people (including homosexuals or other people denied by other faiths) and gives women equal rights as men. It also embraces nature. Bear in mind though that not everyone accepts the pagan faiths, and some people can be very unkind or agressive towards you.

Well, do some research and look into it. Follow your heart.
No your not condemed by god, or going to hell, or worshiping the devil, No, there's no law against being Wiccan or Pagan (in fact you are protected by the first amendment), blah blah blah.......
Only you can decide for yourself what your beliefs are. There are no right and wrong answers if you follow your own heart and mind. So do what you need to do, and don't let anyone condemn you for making your own choices.

I agree with those that tell you to read up on it. You'll know if it's for you, it will just 'feel' right.

P.S. Those who are talking about the 'devil' luring you in. You should read up on the devil too, not just from Christian websites/books. Many people will tell you that the devil is a man made creature used to scare people into doing certain things. Decide whats right for you in every sense though, do some research! You can always just try it. I wasnt sure at first either, but i grew into it.
*edit* And its spelled pagan :P dont look into just wicca, there is a broad spectrum of pagan religions that might suit you better

Could be there is something pushing you away from your present faith. find out what it is then make sure the new faith you are looking at fulfills that need before you jump in. else you'll continue in the same vicious cycle.

Your best bet is studying all religions to see what is right for you. Read some basic books on paganism/wicca, and see if it's right for you.

It's hard for me to answer this for you, because I've been drawn to my own faith and my own faith tells me that my God is the one true God. To me, the devil will try and get you on his side any way he can. He's excellent at finding your weaknesses and influencing you through them. If you have faith now, pray and ask for wisdom is my suggestion.

It means devils are doing extra things in causing you to follow this path, and not follow Jesus.
You will probably be one of Jesus' best followers, and they know you will be, so they try to stop you the best they can.

Thats how the devil works. Soon you will be consumed in it if your not already. He is Luring you in ....you decide your own fate. You make your own decisions in Life, So whats it going to be? Turn to Jesus....Hes waiting for you. With good Judgment and Common sence you can alrady see whats going on...Thats why you posted this...you just dont know it yet.

I can't believe people buy into this Wicca thing. Sure, just try it out and then move on with your life once you realize how useless it is, like all religions.
