Am reading a Jeffrey Archer novel n i just want to find out.Whst is the difference between manslaughter and murder?

I think manslaughter is without premeditation, and murder is premeditated. but I could be wrong

Manslaughter is where a human is killed by another without the intent to kill. Murder, they intended it.

Manslaughter is where one person kills another accidentally, they did not mean to kill them.

Murder is where it was pre meditated and the person had all intention of killing the other person.
