Baby milk is allowed to carry in cabin from UK as long as the passenger tasted the milk in front of the security screens, if they asked to do so. I am not sure if US still allows this.

They banned liquids/ gels etc as this was the type of explosive that would have been used in the most recent foiled attack at heathrow. I believe this is only necessary on exiting the UK, when we returned from Ireland lots of people had liquids. You can take baby milk/ food providing you are prepared to taste it in front of officials.

I think you have been mislead, all carry on luggage is not banned.

They can expain clearly what is and what is not permitted.

Sorry to hear that,but in my country they have not banned it.Maybe it is because they feel it be a risk seeing that people find it so easy to smuggle something throught there handlugguage.

this ban is only temporary so soon we will be travelling normal agian. this ban is only inforced when leaving the us and uk. Travelling into the uk as i have just done is plain normal.
