No. How can you possibly love all the wonderful qualities about a partner if you've never met them? You must really get to know someone before you can give them your heart

I have often wondered, but I think that it is feelings of lust and longing, and not love. I personally don't think you can love someone you have never met... you have no idea what they are like with other people, in different environments. You don't know what their laugh sounds like, how they treat their mother. It is easy to 'talk' online, but sometimes the intimate conversations don't transfer very well into the 'real world.'
good luck though xxx

Listen to Mel. She is right on target! I communicated with my wife for a long time as friends, thinking that she was the wife of a friend. I thought that she was his wife because she seemed like the perfect woman and was often on his page. I admired him for having such a wonderful woman, as he is a very good man.
One day, after I broke up with my fiance', I was reading her page to help me get over the feelings of hurt. I made some relatively benign comment to her, and somehow we started talking. She told me that she was not married, and I didn't believe her at first because of all the lies and falshood on the Internet. I asked him to be sure, and he told me that they had no relationship. After that, we started talking... first as friends, then as lovers. After some time sending messages back and forth over the Internet, we started talking by phone, and our love grew. We had both been hurt, so we were both very cautious. She is now my wife and my soul mate.

Sure if its someone you have talked to and have true communication with .. could be a pen pal, someone you met online, etc etc
I fell in love with my hubby online .. but it took awhile to build the trust up .. in addition we would talk daily, for hours and hours. Friendship came first

hi I was thinking that but your not actually in love with someone until you have met this person and spent some time with them. You may love their personality but to be in love you need the whole package their faults and strengths!!

Yes. Just because you havent met them physically doesn't mean you cant love their personality.
