Maybe you like your girl sweating in the rice field with a baby on her back and one in her belly – no space for dressing up in that woman’s life. However there are some men who love women – even women who wear bright make-up. They like the interest and pride the woman has when she prepares to go out with her special date. They like her ability to completely transform herself after a long hard day. They like the way she smells, and how she can go from innocent to sophisticated within an hour. Woman have always enjoyed dressing pretty and other such things for the men in their lives, and also for their own self esteem.
Perhaps you will only settle for a woman with big lips – but the truth is that not every women is born that way, and maybe lip stick/liner makes those lips look fuller. She looks prettier and ‘you both’ like that better.
So while we would all love it if all women were 100% perfect in appearance and bone structure – sometimes we settle for someone who is not perfect but nice with a little makeup on. Most men are far from perfect, but they have the advantage of not being judged as harshly. Women are expected to be good-looking is they want a mate!!!!! So try to be a little kinder to the fair sex? You guys sound like you are very chauvinistic and demanding.

No I don’t have issues about it. I was just surprised by a man’s question her on Yahoo, and all the unkind comments so many men made in their answers. So, I posed the question again, with a slightly different outlook.

I think its just a little foolish to say a girl who wears make up is phony .I mean probably 85% of women wear make up of some description weather it be to enhance or to cover an imperfection god knows we all have imperfections Its just a cosmetic its not like she is trying to change her whole appearance to deceive any one . I like a little makeup on my wife and it looks good she always says that it takes her a good 20 minutes to look this natural . and that that is the secret to look like your not wearing it at all .

I appreciate it when a woman takes the time to dress well, apply tasteful makeup and use a little perfume. I don't appreciate it when women wear too much makeup, too much perfume or wear inappropriate clothing.
Of course all women look different and someone that appeals to me might not appeal to my neighbor. But isn't that what makes life so great?
Men are demanding, as are women. If the man is too demanding, keep walking. He will always be demanding and you won't be happy. There are billions of men out there. Keep on walking. You'll find the right one, eventually. You just have to be patient. Don't settle!

I am 26 n still get carded without makeup.When I wear makeup, I look likea porn star. Ive learned to love both.I think its attitude. I don't mind a woman who wears a little makup to touch up some areas of her face, but if she wears more makeup than a circus clown or Tammy Faye Baker, she needs to check herself. LOL

make-up is fine for whenever you wish to use it - as long as you use it in the right context and do it subtely
people think that make-up is a womans way of hiding / wearing a mask to hide away from something much deeper - but its silly - women wear it cause it makes them feel good and look good

No, girls are just enhancing their looks. Plus applying make-up is like an art. However, if you over do your make-up it can be called phoney.

Yes ! Girls who wear make up & bleach their hair with peroxide just to look pretty or blonde , are fake..fake..fake & usually dumb coz they try to be something they ain't. That's why we call blondes dumb coz they are brunettes with bleach on (the dumb ones).
