The thing you have to understand is that God (in the bible) is a jealous God and wants only worship for him. He will not give any inclination that there are other Gods at all. So this leads Christians to believe there are only two powers out there Good and Evil. And what ever is not good and from God is then Bad and from Satan. (I don't believe this but whatever) SO they can give you powers that duplicate that of Gods Holy Spirit. Prophesying, Prophetic Dreams, a strong sixth sense along with other "powers". Remember the Pharaohs Egyptian Sorcerers where able to produce the same Miracles as Moses right down to the turning the rods into snakes.

They can give you alot of things. Riches, power to see the future, power to win court cases etc. But the end thereof is death.
Remember this saying of Jesus.
