Depends on the resistance on the bike. If it's loose (like a downhill ride) you won't burn a lot. If it's high resistance (like a steep unhill ride) you could burn several hundred calories in half an hour.

THe calorie readout on all equipment is calibrated high on purpose so you think you are doing more than you are, so people dont get discouraged so easily and quit thier stupid gyms. In reality its probably about 3/4 of whatever it says.

about 180 cals at low speed and about 240 at med speed.
