Teenager practice premarital sex for many reasons, including just wanting to have sex. You saying that hell exists does not prove its existence. You saying it is a sin doesn't prove that either. In the end, they will make their decisions based on what their parents have taught them about their bodies, their self-worth, and how to make such decisions wisely and responsibly. Hand down rules and say that God forbids something and you can be sure that your kids will be doing it by the time they are 13.

Well I can tell by they way you write the question you're not all that bright. Learn to spell!
Other that that, why do you think that everyone is a Christian? Not everyone shares your beliefs. Attitudes such as yours are why I left "born again Christianity".

You've obviously missing the whole point of religion. Forget the bible and all that, it's about a personal relationship with "god" (or whatever you believe in). Perhaps you missed that point in the bible "judge not lest ye be judged".
Also, keep in mind when the bible was written. There was no such thing as birth control, people didn't bathe as much, disease was an issue. This rule was part of many other prohibitions based on health concerns. Nowadays, we have access to birth control, we bathe, we have much better medical care than was available back then.

As far as the hell issue, you bought their scare tactic to keep you in line. So much for thinking for yourself......

The first thing that someone should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.

If God is supposed to be perfect how could She have made anything or anyone that wasn't perfect.
Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.

First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.

How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work?

It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.

One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.

Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.

If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.

If this is the case and Gods creations are perfect, then nothing that we can do could change what God created perfect and make it imperfect unless we think that we are more powerful than God is.

How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.

Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then it could hardly be logically for Gods creations to be considered to be anything less than perfect.

If this is the case then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection that God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.

How likely is that????

Think about it.

The idea of sin is simple nonsense; a lie made up about God by religion.

I think these days people are having more self control than before I guess that depends on where you live though and what you are seeing around. Before as in the 60's where group sex, wife swapping, and one nighters where looked at as being a free spirited. These days I think young people see the dangers of sex and holding off longer in some cases. Things have not changed in the sense of premarital sex, in fact older people are apart of this. People who have gotten divorced or widowed who do not want to enter marriage again but want a relationship still. You also are seeing alot of people who have children who have obviously had sex but never gotten married because they just don't want too. It is happening in every age group probably more so with the older generations than teenagers. Look at how many people commit adultery?

Media has influenced so much teenagers practicing PMS. Another factor is, some other culture unlike Christians are not taught that it is a sin. But I disagree that people who practice PMS will go to hell. What if these two people love each other? People who go to hell are those who make grievous mistakes-people who steal, murder etc ... I don't think god will doom you too hell because you had sex with your boyfriend. Just make sure you are doing the right thing to the right person.

Teenagers "nowadays"? Are you seriously suggesting that teenagers of yesteryear didn't have pre-marital sex? I realize religion has done a number on you and fried your brain, but pull your head out of your *** for a second and consider REALITY, dummy. The bible was written 2000 years ago, yet people existed for 100,000 years before that. I suppose then, those people didn't have pre-marital sex, even before they "knew it was wrong"? What about the concept of marriage, which is about 4000 years old... before marriage, was pre-marital sex wrong? How did our species survive? Marriage is nothing more than a concept. Do you really believe that god gives a rat's *** if you went to the government office to get a marriage license (a piece of paper) before you do the nasty? Do you think God goes through your IRS tax returns and double checks those, too? You're a fruitloop.

People like that always turn out to be the ones who get caught touching the neighbors little boy. I have been with my girlfriend for over ten years now and we have two children together, and we have both never been happier. I don't need the community's or your blessing to have sex with my girlfriend. Like you are so perfect and moral, you probably have more skeletons in your closet then most, worry about yourself first.

I think they know that, and maybe they also regret what they did.

But what do you have to do when everything around you directs you and your hormones towards doing "free actions" and committing adultery. TV and media models the greatest actors/actresses in their sex scenes as the world heroes. If you walk in the street you see more than what you would see in TV or the net. And at the end they claim this to be freedom.

The real freedom is when you are able to free yourself from your senses and your hormones, and to be able to control your spirit and your ideas.

I hope you all understand that.

Well, seeing as it's only been in the last hundred years or so that getting married at the age of 15 was not a common practice...

I'd say that's your answer.
