Eating meat is different to killing things.
If i am hungry - proper starving - and i find a dead cow, and i see a rabbit eating a carrot - and there has been a nuclear explosion and an alien capture of all other life foms of animal and plants on earth, then if i eat the carrot i am acting immoraly as i am killing the rabbit, so if i eat the cow i am not acting immorally, indeed - to not eat the cow would be immoral.

i do not see a question everywhere in right here, yet i will reply basically an same. I do have a dogs. both my dogs and that i eat meat. His treats have poultry and beef in them, and my entrees frequently have some type of meat in them as well. human beings and animals eat to live on, and that i'm fantastically certain that dogs, cats, and different pets does no longer be ingesting actually flowers in the journey that they lived out in the wild. the way I see it, issues with faces are going to develop into nutrients no matter if I end ingesting meat or no longer because human beings are not the actually ones who eat issues with faces.

Be glad you live in a place and have the resources to choose what you eat. In many places of the world those choices don't exist. You eat what you can find, and if that means killing something to eat, then you do what you need to survive.
I agree that we need to respect nature, but if it's eat nothing or eat meat, I'm having a BBQ.

Yes. It is.
1. Design
--------------
Human jaw/teeth is not designed to eat flesh like
Lion or Tigers. They have very sharp teeth.
2. Effect
------------
This is hard to believe but there is a direct effect of food
on your thinking and attitude. Try giving observation for long
period of time and you'll experience yourself.
Meat creates aggression or rather negative energies.
Eating meat can be utmost justified who is involved in very
rigorous physical work e.g. farmer or military men.
Meat should ideally be eaten only when you are left with no other
option for survival.
Eating non-vegetarian will always bring question of immorality or
same kind. Free youself from this burden for once.
This matter is more of logical and precise introspection rather than based on others advice. Please give time and little effort to yourself and take the decision.
Hope this helps.

~Ok, you don't want to eat another living thing. That's leaves out the fruits, veggies and nuts to. Not much left to do but suck rocks, yes. It was a long hard climb to the top of the food chain. Enjoy it while it lasts. Or, get out in the woods and waters and stop all those immoral creatures from acting so unethically.

It depends on what religion are you with or what lifestyle are you practicing
I mean we have to respect their belief and what they think...
For Muslims, it's immoral to eat posk...we have to respect them
For Hindus, it's a sin to eat beef, we have to respect them too
As for vegetarian, any meat is a NO-NO...we have to respect them as well...
So, this is not an issue of immorality, it's an issue of respect.
I hope you respect this answer.... :-)

I sincerely think we are all supposed to decide this one for ourselves. I have struggled with this question all my life. I even became a strict lactovegetarian for over three years, and still lean towards that to this day. I think we will all be vegetarians eventually. Just some sooner than others.

.I think it depends on if the animals are killed humanely. I won't eat at Red Lobster because they get their seafood from Canada which has the (baby) seal hunts (slaughters) or KFC because of the footage of the chickens being stomped to death! There are other such examples unfortunately~
