I will assume you are serious, and you really want to know; therefore I will answer you:

Islam is a full curriculum of teachings, and Prophet Muhammad PBUH is the teacher that is inspired by God. However, the prophet is more or less a human being just like us who is taught by the revelations of God. Prophet is a human that feels and is hurt and cry and love and gets angry he sometimes give his personal opinions where his companions can object on (he declares that this is his own opinion and not inspired from God). Now, in the story of Aysha (may ALLAH be pleased with her) this was a lesson to the Prophet and to all of us, and this is what the Quran declares in chapter "Tawba". The prophet did not send Aysha, she went because she was hurt because the prophet did not exonerate her because the false evidence where tricky, and to your information these are nothing but false evidence because there must be 4 people to witness a sin, which of course was not the case. The complications of Aysha (may ALLAH be pleased with her) continued and the prophet became more patient because he knew this was a test from God. he did not think about divorcing her, but one of his companions suggested that if he do that and marry another woman, then he will close the case, but of course the prophet did not do that! Eventually Revelation came thru Gabriel to be an evidence for Aysha till the day of judgment.

He was only a human and didnt know the truth at the time, but he didnt doubt her, he believed her, however he was overburnded and depressed by those rumors and when Aisha saw him like that, she asked by herself to go to her father's house.
