I was considering going into the National Guard but have now decided to be full-time instead of a "weekend warrior". Would you suggest Air Force or Navy and please give reasons.

Navy, you get your job guaranteed before you sign up, and the advancement is faster.

Air Force, it's just plain easier

Air Force. The Air Force has more resources than all the other branches largely because they can use their cargo planes to ship supplies for the other branches, and they get the money. The Navy has cargo ships, but this does not help within the continental US.

Air Force food, housing, and base housing standards are much higher. When I was on Active Duty in the Army, the Air Force personnel that were stationed in our post housing received extra money, even though the Military charged them no rent, because the housing was deemed below the standards for the Air Force. I guess it was fine for those of us in the Army.

I would definitely go Air Force. They have better benefits. They also don't deploy for that long of periods (so I've been told by many members).

NAVY, because I did my 20.5 years in the Navy and loved it. If not for the busted kneecap I would have stayed for 30.

GO NAVY BEAT ARMY

Air force.
I believe they have a history of Lieutenant Colonels who were magnificent in their work.
Who loved their cadets .
Training them to be just like them, Hard as nails".
So that when they went into battle they would not be killed they would be survivors.
