If you knew it was the last day and you had a choice to take the mark and spend an eternity in hell or endure a quick painless death and find yourself in an eternity of love and light and happiness, what would you do???

Doesn't seem like too hard of a choice. I think the kicker, though, is that it won't be for you to accept or pass on. It will be based on how you led your life...

Wouldn't someone figure out that everyone is getting the number 666 on their forehead? Isn't that rather cliche?

The number 666 is special to Romans because the number in Roman numerals is DCLXVI. Its like saying 654321.

Hello!! :o) As a Christian I would certainly HOPE that I do whatever is necessary to stay a member of God's family. [And reject the Anti-Christ] That said... from what I understand - the number '666' is the number of the Anti-Christ. It is not the number that any of us will receive. The Bible tells us that those who follow of the Anti-Christ [who comes BEFORE Jesus - just so you know] will receive a 'mark' on their forehead and wrist or hand. That should not be taken literally. The 'forehead' refers to what man 'chooses to believe' and the wrist/hand is what he 'chooses to DO'. Have a great day!! [And don't be deceived] Craig!! :o)

The mark isn't 666.

The mark is obeying the beast's commandments, just like the seal is obeying God's commandments.

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Rev 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

So the saints have the seal, and they obey the commandments. Okay lets look at what moses said after he gave the commandments the second time. Well after God wrote them in stone again.

Deu 6:2 That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
Deu 6:8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.

Take alook at the 10 commandments, do you obey them all? And do you have the faith of Jesus? Why do we goto church on Sunday when Jesus and his disciples (all thru acts also) went to church on the Sabbath ? Its a commandment given by God. In revelation 14, we hear the final gospel given by the 3 angels before the end comes. Remember the Gospel is preached throughout all the world, then the end will come (Mat 24:14)

Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
Rev 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Part of that which the angel says comes from the 4th commandment in exodus !!! "made heaven, and earth, and the sea" and its asking for worship !!!

We should be worshiping on Sabbath not sunday !!! (look up encyclopedia what sunday means, and what saturday means)

The Beast of Daniel, is also the same beast of revelation; Dan 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

THEY DID CHANGE TIMES AND LAWS!!!

They no longer have the 2nd commandments either which says we should not have statues, or bow down to them. The Catholic Church is the first beast of revelation. Do you want its mark ??

Follow the sabbath of the Lord. In heaven we will follow the sabbath also.

Isa 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

Isaiah 66 talks about the new world God will create on earth after Jesus comes.

Eze 20:12 Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.

The Church gave us sunday, so what do we do? Make a sign between us and the Lord, or us and the beast ?

Mat 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
