If we had nobody to kill, then why would we even exist?
Allah demands total obedience, even if it kills you (and it will if you do not convert)!

Appeasement is not possible. As long as religions exist, they will cause death and destruction.

However, you are overstating the effects of Catholicism on the Americas. Yes, the Spaniards committed many atrocities against the natives, but they were merely the final blow. The plagues that swept through Europe in the Middle Ages were brought to the Americas by the explorers and they are the real cause of the destruction in the Americas. Once the Europeans made landfall, the plagues swept through the Americas faster than the conquistadors. The Incas were decimated by plague, which killed their emperor and led to a vicious civil war. When the war was over, the Spaniards arrived. If it wasn't for the plagues, native resistance against the Europeans may have been possible.

That isn't to say that religions are not the cause of many terrible things, but placing the sole blame on them for something that was mostly beyond their control is not fair.

Though many see Islam as the main cause of this "uprising" the truth is it has been going on well before we were born & probably will continue well after the planet is gone too, never mind us. Have a look at the Romans if you think otherwise. They saw Christianity as a threat to their Empire. The Germans who followed Hitler are another example. Want more proof, just look. The Americans are also guilty of such crime, see Japan, Hiroshoma. So it's not just i nthe name of God we see this slaughtering but for many other reasons too.

Faith does not kill people. People kill people. Using Religion as an excuse (whatever your beliefs) for controlling others in whatever way is totally unacceptable. Religion became political and therefore moved away from Spirituality and God and creation. All the past and present slaughter in the name of religion is an excuse from the few to control the many - the many need to become loud in their condemnation of these fanatics and say enough is enough.

with regard to the billions gone, and the fact that there are more people on this god forsaken planet now, more than there ever has been killed, will be killed. You could technically say, that after we (and im sure we will through pure greed and the want for more) exhaust the planet of all its resources eventually, we will all die down to the simply matter of greed kicked of by what some foolish people call eve and the apple, but is more than ikely you have a stone axe and i have a spear!!!!!!!!!!!

I consider Christianity among the more popular faiths. War and bloodlust is not a Christian tenet. It (Christianity) has been misappropriated and used as an excuse for power plays and capitalistic ventures throughout the ages. If you change the wording to read "religion" as Catholocism is- (Christianity being the faith of Catholicism) you may have a more effective wording, even though I disagree with your premise.

You seem to be on a personal crusade of your own. Attacking others who have a faith is exactly the same attitude which slaughtered the billions which you are talking about.

ok so you realise, that its only 'in the name' of gods right, and its nothing to do with religion, only power, and money.

Religion, is really only a cover for power and money. have a google for the ammount of land the christian english church owns.. it will shock you.

The church is just like the army really, except the people arent as well trained, and fatter. these people will do what they are told blindly, for the person in charge, whos motives are usually money..

Now that's done it you give people something to hope for (as in a false religion) then they say it was my God he told me to do it.

May they burn in the fires of hell.

If that doesn't exist put em on a bonfire

As long as Sin abounds there will be blood lost. And its Catholicism not "catholosism."

Ah ha! I will save your soul or kill you trying!

I totally agree! Unless we all bow down and give reverence to their mythical gods, they will never be satisfied. They think they are saving our souls, but they are just brainwashed by fairytales.
