Some scholars believe that Noah is the Hebrew version of the
Sumerian flood story, with Ziusudra the original Noah. Ziusudra was from the city of Shuruppak .

Shuruppak is the modern Tall Fa'rah, it's an ancient Sumerian city located south of Nippur in what is now south-central Iraq and originally on the bank of the Euphrates River.

Utanapishtim, the king of Shuruppak was hundreds of years before Noah...."The Gilgamesh"...

Utanapishtim just doesn't get any respect...maybe because "Noah" is easier to pronounce??????

No, there is no written record except in the 5th old testament which was never published because it 'revealed too much'.
