my husband is currently awaiting paperwork about his administrative separation from the air force how do i find out the status of that?

Are you guys separated or something? Why don't you ask him? It's hard enough for us active duty guys to get a straight answer from the retards at Air Force Personnel Command (AFPC)--they're not going to help you very much, if at all.
If you guys are separated or something like that and you need to know what's up, contact his First Sergeant (commander is a good back up if you can't find the First Sergeant) and make sure he knows who you are and what your situation/status is.
