the person that gives birth is the mother, but the sex change would mean they are a father that gave birth as a mother.

They will always be classed as a mother. They were born female and even if they have a sex change, it doesn't alter the fact that they once had female sex organs and that they carried and gave birth to another member of the human race.

Only a mother can give birth. One can change sex but giving birth is God's gift to a woman.

Biologocially they are their mother but will always be a parent. I guess it would depend on what the child and that person would be comfortable with

Biologically the mother and physically the father, as long as they were a good parent I don't suppose it matters as long as the child is loved and cared for.
