Its like he is constipated he is a poodle x maltese. I like to feed him small amounts of meat because he like's it, apart fropm that he is on a dry food diet, what can i do to help him

Mix a teaspoon of canned pumpkin in his food..You may have to feed equal parts pumpkin and tinned food to get him used to the taste..Also, dogs can have Metamucil, just 1/2 teaspoon for the little dog...If he has no corn allergies or skin problems, a little canned creamed corn will help...
Do check his anal glands to make sure they aren't inflamed..

I agree with Chetco, the best thing for constipation and diarrhea is canned pumpkin (just make sure it's the plain pumpkin and not one that has spices and stuff in it for pumpkin pie filling). Just mix a teaspoon or 2 in his food and it should help him within a couple hours after eating it. I use this on my dogs from time to time and it works great, I just mix it in with their kibble and they don't seem to mind the taste of it.

mine use to do that I thought it just hurt alittle or scared her so I would just console her& then say quit pooping on the carpet you mutt,lol. Instead of meat make him a egg & you could poor grease from meat cooked over his food that will help. just make sure it has cooled down some. He'll love that& it will make it easier to go #2.
