Obviously doing more push ups, but is there a way to help increase arm strength for this?

Keep doing them. Don't give up. You have to break down the muscles before you can build them back up. I know that I couldn't do a push up to save my life when I went to basic training for the U.S. Army. But at the end of 8 weeks, I could out push any man in my platoon.

slowly try and increase the repittions you are doing over a period of few weeks.. to increase your strenght you can have more red meat without fat which contains creatnine which helps in increasing strenght, creatnine can also be taken as a supplement which can be bought from the net or any shop which stocks supplements. It will help you increase your power and also build lean muscles.

If you dont want to have supplements then increase your intake of red meat and plan your excersises routine so that your strength increases gradually. You can start with 4 sets of push ups daily with a target of 10 push ups in each set or according to your strenght.. then slowly increase the number of push ups and also the sets..

Well, a basic push up uses your chest, front shoulder, and your triceps. You can very the push up by doing inclines, adding weight to your back, close and wide grip.

If you want to exercise to increase your push up capacity, concentrate on the chest and triceps with dumbbell and barbell bench press and dips. Dips are one of my favorite exercises, they give your chest and triceps an incredible pump.

If you want big biceps you need to do pull-ups. They also work your back, giving the torso it's "V" shape.

Yeah, Do diamond push ups.

Get down like a regular pushup but then touch your hands together to form a diamond or triangle shape.

These are much harder but if you do them regularly for a few weeks, regular pushups will seem like nothing at all.
