Why does one person always say that the relationship never ment anything to them, or they don't love the other one. Why does someone always have to make the relationship a really bad thing. They can't just deal with the fact that they were happy, now it has ended and move on, they have to say things to make the other person feel bad or worse than they alreay do. What is the point?

My thought is that they feel so guilty that they have to reverse that guilt on the other person. Other than that, I have no idea, other than the fact that they're probably big, fat losers that need to be shot!

hi girl! It's very normal at your age to have different relationships. It's also normal that the degree of feelings are different. You still have a long way to go in finding someone who will be with you for the rest of your life. Enjoy being 16! Fall in love, get hurt, have crushes even if your still in a relationship. It's normal. And with all these experiences comes your strenght in dealing with different situations later in your life. But of course as a girl, please have some reservations for yourself, at least a little. This will give you confidence. So even if you'll get hurt again, then you'll have the strenght to move on. Remember, there's always somebody for someone. Sometimes it comes in an unexpected time.Yes, this is true, no matter how long or how short it takes, the universe has created a perfect match for all its tenants. You'll feel this in your heart when the right one comes.

NO ONE WANTS TO ADMIT DEFEAT. In this society it winners, and everyone else. That is why we cheat, use performance enhancing drugs. The person saying these things is usually the one who wanted to continue but has not choice in the demise of the relationship. So they are frustrated, pissed off and the other, and embarrassed they been fired, dumped, let go. No one wants to lose. Even no-win wars people that know better won't quit. Because defeat is bad. the person being dumped makes it about them. They were not good enough(and in many cases they weren't. Either because of their on complacency, or pure lack) The point to do or say it is vengeance, and appearances. They do not want it to appear they were wounded but by the very vicious nature of their verbal attack, it betrays what they are trying to project. The byproduct is that the person who wanted to stay in the relationship is having a change forced on them. and most people do not fancy major change like that.

Its their way of trying to save face, by saying that the relationship never ment anything to them makes them feel better about themselves and the hurt is not so great. But believe that they are hurting just as much as you.

obviously that person wasn't as happy as everone thought or they wouldn't have left in the first place. How do you know that the feelings they have after the break up aren't the true feelings?
