How do you translate the words "manjoca" and "caxasa" from portuguese to english?

"Manjoca" could be manioc (an edible root), but I'm not sure.
"Caxasa" is a not very refined, treacherous and popular (cheap!) type of rum.

i don't know about manjoca but for caxasa i would use this translation "just grab a glass and drink it"
i think its great
