me and this guy were going out for about a month but we were good friends before and we talked to each other every night for like at least 2 hours the longest time was 8 hours on the phone and I had never felt a stronger connection with anyone but then I moved and we broke up he said a lot of stuff and it made me see him as a complete jackass and someone I had no interest in ever being with again but because of the connection we had before I wanted to stay friends so I called him like twice about 2 weeks ago and he never answered or called back so I stopped but today I ran into him and it was awkward and then he left so I called him later he answered and I said 'it was good running into you this morning sorry the conversation was odd but Istill want to be friends' and he said'I thought we were still friends dont worry about it' and he invited me out but I was in the wrong city and then he had to go.Im not going to call him again but did I seem desprate to him? or what would a guy think

Move on with your life. Forget about him.

Remember what it ended like when you broke up the first time then ask yourself if it's an experience you really would like to repeat over and over again. Staying friends could guarantee you have a good friend for life.

If it was awkward to see him, one or both of you aren't over it. I dated a girl for five years, had an ugly break, tried to contact her after 1 year of absolutly no contact to patch up the friendship (bad idea but it was part of a new years resolution) she proceeded to literally stalk me for another four months. Give it some time and don't do anything stupid, sometimes it's better to just leave it be. Good luck

Forget it, lady. Just like you said he is a Jack *** so stay focused and don't let your feelings fool you. This is a real world where we are living in.
