u can buy special plastic pots. crack your egg in it,put the lid down, and put em in for about a minute! The pots are only about a pound!

However if you feel you must then purchase a microwave dish suitable for egg poaching, follow the simple instructions and micro for about 30 seconds.

You can buy plastic egg poaches for the microwave but i wouldn't bother, it is just as quick and easy to do it in boiling waster on the hob. If you need to do it in the microwave use a microwavable bowl with hot water and put it on medium power for a couple of minuets check it is cooked and then enjoy!

use aplastic microwave dish for pached eggs place few drops of wter in the bottom of each individual egg compartment pierce a hole in the center of the yolk with a needle 2or 3 places and drop a spot o water on the top then cook for a few seconds not as good as doing them in a pan of boiling water though and if you do them in a pan break the egg on a saucer get the water boiling in the pan first then swirl the water in the pan to make like a whirpool then quicklt slide the egg of the sauser into the pan of water keeps the eggs in shape when poaching and they yummy

Boil some water and put it in a microwaveable dish then drop in the egg on full power. Takes about 30 seconds

They make plastic containers that you put the eggs in to poach in a microwave. I got mine at Wal-Mart.

i know it can be done in the microwave, but you need to buy something to poach it in, cant remember what they are called - but its round and you put the egg in with a little water.
