Your first reaction was prolly ... "what the hell!!!" and then you didn't know what to say.
She is scared, and not in a position to trust people. If your friend said that to you, then it very possibly is real, and she wants to talk about it to if nobody else, you.
Be there for her. Encourage her to not be scared, and that it didn't happen because of her, and to tell who it was to the proper people. She told you for a reason... It is up to you to decide what that reason was. Be there. There is no right or wrong thing to say. She is talking to you because she needs you to say something, or if nothing else to listen. Play it by ear, but please realize it is a very serious situatiuon. Help her.

first comfort her.say it her as many number of times as u can that it isn't her fault.she sud not feel guilty for what happened to her.
ask her if she wants to go to doctor.if yes take her to one.
then ask her if she wants to go to police.if yes do it immediately cos the more time u take the less the chance of that culprit to get convicted.
and talk to her abt this if she wants to.
if possible take her away from that surrounding for some time.this will help her a lot.
good luck...

Just don't blame her...listen carefully and offer to help and show support in everyway you can...never blame the victim...let her know how sorry you are and if there is anything you can do to make things better..and he/she will be very grateful for the support and the fact that you didn't plop the blame in her lap.
