John 14: 1-2
1Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. 2In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.

O God,
Thank you for your gift of salvation and the promise of heaven.
Increase our faith and trust in you and your Son Jesus.

You can't top the original, Scripture is one of the highest forms of prayer. You can, however, make it personal by addressing the Scripture to yourself or someone who could use it's message:
"Do not let your heart be troubled, Sunshine. Trust in God and me... Sunshine, I am going there to prepare a place for you.

Jesus is talking about the Golden city !!! Pray for Jesus' return.

This refers to Heaven. There are many places or "states" in Heaven and depending on our earthly life is where God will put us. Where we will exist forever. I would pray for the best house. The biggest mansion. The most perfect place. Therefore I would pray to God to make me a channel of His peace. To know Him and and Truth and to tell others about Him.

almighty heavenly god who created all things, i come before you in the name of your son Jesus Christ, and i ask for you to pour out your blessings this day o lord, please give me a heart that is firm in faith of you sending Jesus Christ to die on the cross and be resurrected that i may be forgiven of all my sin, to be healed of sickness, and delivered from the attacks of satan. give me the supernatural courage to stand strong in my faith while normal people would be falling away.. i know that Jesus has prepared a mansion for me and the street in front of that mansion are paved with gold. and i know its all for me because you love me. i know that Jesus is preparing that place that mansion for me right now, and lord i cannot wait for the return of the lord to take me home to my mansion in glory. in Jesus name i thank you for this day, and for the gifts you've given me, and the gifts you've promised me and i am believing on the lord Jesus.. I have never done this before, but I will try just for you.
Heavenly Father, I trust in you and all that you promise.
Just believing that I have a mansion that I will go to someday leaves my heart filled with joy and no longer troubled.

Why you need to pray this prayer? Sound like someone is going to die soon.
If we have faith like a mustard seed, we know that Jesus is preparing a place for us in heaven.
Let us pray to be HIS good steward on earth, and everything will be done in Heaven. Amen!

heavenly father,
please help me to trust you in all the ways you have placed your trust in me. i know in this trust my heart will rejoice. until i'm needed to join you in the room you have prepared for me, i want to prepare my heart as your dwelling place for the rest of my days. in the name of jesus christ, amen!
