How do you transfer Sims2 files to a different computer?

I want to transfer my characters onto my new computer where I just installed Sims2, how would I go about doing that?

just copy the folder "saved data" or sth like that i can't remember it (it's in program files/ maxis (EA)/the sims 2 ) and paste it in the same location in ur new computer

burn em onto a cd, as Data...and merge in with files on new comp.

you just re-install it on the second computer or buy a twin memory and and swich your old memory tonew com
