The very best alternative that works for me is water exercise--even if you can only 'work out' 3x a week--you will be amazed. i have a bone disease [avn] and this has been a godsend for me!! i really hope you try it.......as with any new exercise program, you may want to consult your Dr. just to be safe....happy swimming!!

just walk a lot, try to walk at least a mile a day, to start, then slowly walk farther and farther until you are walking at least an hour every day. You could also try swimming since that puts absolutely no pressure on the joints, but is a good aerobic exercise

o.k. that is 132 lbs. you can do walking if possible in short periods. you can do chair exercises. ride a exercise bike. do stretch straps exercise in a chair.
I can not do much exercise because of health problems and I have lost 75 lbs in six months. also change your eating habits. Go on a low carb diet. with lots of fruits and vegetables.drink lots of water.

My mom just brought a dvd from India of Divya yoga... divyayoga.com i have heard that this stuff is AMAZING, there are different types of yogas to target different health issues. try this for losing weigh if u cant do this then try walking a few kilometeres a day. GOOD LUCK.
