i can do-but it largely depends on which part of the set is affected-if the water lands on the main pcb/power supply then certain safety features will be employed and the tv (should) just shut down. but if you are unfortunate enough for the water to come in contact with the line output section then you might be treated to an impressive pyrotechnics display-but this is rare so i wouldn't worry. if you have had water drop down your tv and it was switched off at the time let it dry out completely (depending on humidity etc this could take several days) and then turn on the set. if it doesn.t come on then its had it. if it was switched on then the chances are irrepairable damage has occured and it may be advisable-and economically viable to buy another tv.

Take out the works, and make a fish tank instead, you'll get more entertainment watching fish than the telly.

Yes, it could blow up. Unplug it immediately and dry it out. You can use a hair dryer, but you may want to wait days before turning it back on so the liquid will evaporate.

You need to let it dry before switching it on. As water is a conductor it could short out all the electronic bits and bobs in the back.

yes it could blow up, well it might not blow up but it could break, let it dry for as long as you think is necessary for the amount of water involved in the incident. and please be careful : ) if its really wet put it near a radiator (not to near ) and leave it for a day or two.

Better unplug it real quick and let it dyr out for about a week. It causes a bunch of short circiuts (Water is a conductor of electricty unless it's lab pure).
