TV antenna or satellite dish.
Great web site for determining the antenna that you need -- just enter your zip code and uncheck the junk mail options... you get a pretty cool result:

Cable is not available to me so I use a dish antenna. But I also have a really nice antenna on the roof. Check out www.starkelectronic.com
It will pick up most TV stations within 20 - 75 miles. It comes with an amplifier to boost the signals and rotates 360 degrees. If antennas aren't allowed in your area, you can also mount it in your attic (if you have one). I've had mine for 25 years with no problems.

Get an antenna or make one yourself with some wire, coat hangers or other metal.. even tin foil can be a great help.

either you install an antenna (like rabbit ears or with pole on the roof) or a satdish (some countries like germany have free local satellite feed).
