I am not short, but when I see a couple or pair which the lady is taller, it seems weird.

When we were all in school it didnt seem to matter then, everyone was about the same in height...so I dont see why it should matter now, but to some it does.
I knew a tall girl who married a short guy so her own awkward feelings of her height she could compensate for in her children.
He was doing the same. But their personalities and attraction needs had to be met first.
If the girl is used to being around shorter guys, say from her dad, brother, uncle, etc. she may have a tendency toward shorter men...what she's familiar with. Vice verse with women who grew up around taller men.
Lot of reasons for choosing a partner...mostly it's love.

Okay Coolman, Women don't care about height,it's the person inside that counts.If a man is acouple inches shorter,and hes a happy and caring person,it doesn't matter one bit. Some men are uncomfortable if they are shorter than the woman.This can be fixed,she can wear flat shoes and this will help alot.If they both enjoy each other, and have a good time together,whats the problem!!

I don't think so. I think the lady is more interested in the man not the height. Being altitude challenged myself and have gone out with lots of taller women, I have asked why did you go out with me? The answer I got the most was "because you are confident about yourself."
About what other people think about you going out with a taller women I say do what you want. Those people are just envious that they could not have someone.

Not at all. I think most women are more accepting than men are. Men tend to judge by looks while women judge by personality or character. Who cares about height if he has a great sense of humor, is kind & intelligent.

I prefer men to be taller than me and I'm about 5'7. The taller the better!! I don't like feeling like a guys mommy...
