i'm just curious why u only asked how guys feel about dating a woman with kids and not how woman also feel about dating guys with kids? i met my partner when i was 18 and he had a 2 1/2 yr old daughter and the only thing i had to ask myself was do i want to be a mum yet ( she lives with us) because if i didn't then don't get involved in something where someone can get hurt, but it's been 7 yrs and 2 boys together and i would never take it back. there is nothing that compares to the love of a child whether it is biologically yrs or not.

.Depends on the woman, the child and the guy. Dating women w/ kids can be tough. First you aren't their father and you are generally perceived as a threat. Mothers tend to coddle children when introducing another man in their lives instead of letting the guy and the child work things out. Then you also have to earn the respect of both. And the worst part is if the relationship w/ the mother ends you lose two people you care about instead of one Younger guys are generally more receptive to relationships w/ single Moms. It's like anything else in life ,you get burned enough you get leery. If the guy cares about you he'll roll w/ the punches. Good Luck.

I believe most of them don't mind dating a woman with a child. Personally, I see nothing wrong. Looking in a bright side an experienced woman has an edge over a newly graduated from school.

Long time ago, it was a no no. Today it's the norm. Problem is many ex wives don't let divorced fathers talk to their own children. The fathers eventually give up trying & forget their own children.
They strike up a relationship with the new woman's child/ren. When the children grow up
and/or the guy & gal break up, the children usually forget everything the guy has done.
Bottomline, it's a losing proposition for the guy,
his children from a former relationship & often
children today meet so many new "dads" it fugs up their heads/hearts & souls.
If a man wants poontang, he won't care. Children today are left unprotected...shame.

You know what... Most of the men that answered this question any decent young woman would not even go near... Did it ever occur to them that maybe we thought the man we had kids to was 'the one' that we were going to grow old with? Nobody can see into the future and see that their husband is going to leave them for a younger version of you... Just because i have two beautiful baby boys at 21 does not make me easy or a slut... I have only ever slept with two men in my life and the second is the father of both of my children and soon to be ex-husband because he 'left' me holding the babies while he went ******* somebody else... Don't judge us because its you guys that leave us holding the baggage...

The general idea is intimidating. A nameless, faceless child is just a reason for drama.
If they like you though, they will probably fall in love with your child, too.

It depends on whether or not the kids live with you all of the time, how old they are and somtimes how many there are. I have 5 kids and boyfriends have been fine with it, but my kids were with their dad a lot.

Never had a problem with it. If thats the women you want to be with then you have to accept the child, they come together.

It's really more about how she is. If she's a whackjob, the kid will be a piece of work too. If she's responsible, she'll wait before asking you and her kid to become close.
Kids are great.
