Also, why do you think that sex is a sin?

Apparently, no one wants to watch the video :(
Anyway, if sex isn't a sin, then why do so many church goers frown on racey products? A woman was arrested in Texas a few years ago for having a "sex toy" party in her home.

Roxane, no where in the video does it say that sex should be without emotions. In fact, in the very beginning of the video, I mention controlling/moderating sex is important in furthering trust in interpersonal relationships. i.e. I'm not advocating people just sleeping around to enjoy sexual pleasure. I'm sorry you misconstrued the video in that way.

I loved your video and agree completely. I do disagree with "aj steele" in his response that we are the only "animals" that have self-awarness...this is inaccurate, as there are certain breeds of apes that are able to convey their own insecurities and whatnot. We are animals and we are further along evloutionary-wise than our primate friends. That's where the aspect of educating and protecting ourselves comes into play, as you described in your video.
Genuine monogamy is the ideal situation to prevent the spread of disease, but it is idealistic and generally unsatisfying as well, unless one is content with the philosophy of "ignorance is bliss". Others, like myself, lean toward the human tendency to question our situations and wonder if there is more to life and of course sex. Sex or the withholding thereof, can be great tool for control within a relationship between two people, not entirely unlike that of a relationship between a religious outfit and an individual.
Once again I loved your video....it's now posted on my MySpace. Some of my Christian friends (very good friends, at that!) may not totally agree...I simply hope it initiates some serious cognitive activity. That's the fun of life...to always dig deeper.
Good job!
PS
Thank god sex isn't going to thrust me into depths of hell! As I'm sure it would be quite crowded and I need my personal space!!

A) If you made this... nice.
B) It is perfect because of it's simplicity. There are a large number of people, myself included, who grew up going to church, that later found if you had any questions whatsoever, you could very well be "luke-warm" and be on a direct path to "hell". I grew up in a small town in Mississippi, and my family attended church every Sunday. The funny thing is, even then, I recall people at my church talking about other churches not being the same.... Ours being correct.... and we are talking about the First Christian Church, and The First Methodist Church... (both Christian churches!) One was sure the other was wrong.
That is such an isolated example of the brainwashing. It is mass, and widespread. Because of my childhood beliefs, or lessons, I am still scared or ashamed of my doubts. What about dinosaurs? How did Noah get over a million different species on an ark... in pairs??? I mean, simple and understandable doubts or questions I think!
But anyway, I like the video. Hopefully more people will begin realizing that nobody knows for sure, and it is okay for people to have faith in whatever makes them feel safe, and loved. Having something to believe in, and being loved at the same time... it is almost heavenly.

I watched the video and total disagree with what it is saying. Sex is a natural thing, yes. It is for the purpose to procreate, yes. Sex has two reasons behind it and we all know what they are, pleasure and for children. I believe God intended people to enjoy sex in a marriage to please each other by mind and body. To make love is different than just sex, it is a emotional thing, you do not get that from just anyone. The other is family, anyone can have children and spread their seed around but a family is what is the foundation of a healthy child. God intended a man and a woman to be parents in a loving environment where their love is a example of love for their child and an example of God's love for us. Sex is disease and Making love is sharing your feelings in a different way.
As for sex toys in a marriage I feel that as long as two people are sharing the same feelings than what ever.
The video is basically saying you don't need feelings of love, just sex. Not the kind of message I would want to send to the world.God never intended single parent homes, Adultery, and Disease, We are at fault for these things in our lives. Not saying single parents deserve raising a child alone, they don't, they deserve love, a family, and help with child rearing in one home where everyone feels safe. This is what I believe.

I couldn't see the Video but Sex is not unless it is not done to the right person meaning that if you do it to someone else other than your wife ( that Is a Sin) I know you will say why is that ( because God knows what is best for everyone and if every one does to whom he can or want we will get diseases as in USA and other countries that sex is free to be done with whom you want and desire in our religion you can not as a good Muslim do that but for you wife and this way you will not have at least the risk of getting diseases from different used women and I have a lot of details regarding that if you need more details contact me please hope I have giving you what you are looking for!!!

I'm 15 and in highschool, I hear this stuff all the time walking down the hallway. I agree, what the hell ever happened to sex after marriage? My boyfriend has asked if I would do anything with him and I told him I had to wait until I was married and he at the very least respects it. I just hate how teens think they are mature enough to already handle it, and I'm pretty sure they aren't.

Sex is encouraged in the Bible, it is not a sin. When a person gets deviant, and is not married and having intercourse it creates problems, so then it is a sin. The video descibes humans as animals, and that is the fundemental mistake, . You have self awareness and feelings that animals do not have. yes , sex is great, it feels good and is normal. get as much as you can to satisfy each other.

I didn't get a chance to look over your video - I might later.
But sex isn't a sin. Sex outside of marriage is a sin according to the Bible but not sex between a husband and wife. And it is probably a sin because all of the laws God set out for us are for our benefit - not so He can "catch" us doing something bad. If we take His advice and only have sex with our married partner then we never have to worry about venereal diseases, emotional trauma, etc. God gave us rules to help us take care of our bodies, minds, and each other.

I will agree with an earlier view. Sex outside the sanctity of marriage is a sin. Within the sanctity of marriage it is not. Yes adultery and lust are sins!

Sex is not a sin... in a marital relationship between a man and a woman. It is to be enjoyed on a regular basis to keep both people in it from being tempted.
