Well, first off....I believe that it is God who chooses the ones we are about to marry.
I am single and a Christian, when I prayed about a certain person, even to be with him....the person turned out to be a bad would be choice, but the choice is still yours, as long as you walk the Christian walk, God will bless whatever you do.

there is a big christian music festival in my town and some with in a couple hour drive from here...that is a great place. or i got super invovled with my church and the different confrences or meetings or things you can go to that cover districts, nationally or same denominations in your town are a great place to meet others...there are quite a few christian singles websites out there, i haven't tried them but that could work. i can't think of much else but give it a try....good luck!

I met my husband at my parents' house when my brother brought him over to play guitar, so that specific experience probably isn't too helpful.
I do have some general advice, though -- the same advice I give all my girlfriends: love God, seek Him, worship Him, pray to Him, and learn to love God and God alone, and as you walk closely with Him down the path He has for you, that path will cross with one who is also walking with Him, the perfect one for you. Searching is usually counter-productive, in my not-humble-enough opinion.
Also, depending on your age, I'd suggest Christian concerts/festivals, college campus organizations, Christian bookstores, if you simply must search.
Good luck to you and God bless. Waiting is not fun, but it won't be for long. Trust God.

It must not be very much fun to be a single woman who believes that Jesus is the son of the living God and that he gave his life for you so that you may have eternal life.
I mean, you can't get much play thinking like that. If you believe something like that, you'll believe anything any random man will tell you.

I believe GOD is our Match Maker. So pray and open ourselves to find one.
Currently, I am reading "Five love languages for single and marriage". I know GOD is preparing my heart to find a husband too. I believe that whoever GOD's preparing for us will be good.
GOD bless to all singles

couldn't help but answer.... sorry. look, i'm a catholic. but i disagree with what you're trying to imply here. first, the church or for that matter, religious conventions or seminars are not rightful places for meeting men or use as a location to search for a mate. please... any religious activity should be treated as for pure faith and faith alone. we gather at seminars, go to church, simply because we are there to seek his graces and be humble enough to worship and pray to the lord. but to use it for choosing a spouse, gives the idea that all christian women seek are their future spouses. again, i apologize... but your question in my comprehension implies it at that manner of approach... forgive me.

thats a tough question, I want to know the answer to that one as well. Maybe going into christian chat rooms, but be careful though with that one. Make sure your discernment is up and running. :) God Bless, I wish you the best of luck.

Well, interestingly enough, I met my boyfriend at a science-fiction / fantasy convention. So you never can tell.
For what you might be looking for, I would suggest getting involved in some volunteer work.
