As with all the questions on here relating to which OS is better than others, at the end of the day it comes down to experience and personal taste. If you are long time Windows user, getting used to a Linux distro can be a long process, but worth it. Fedora and most of the other Linux distros are a lot more stable, and use a lot system resources than windows, on the flip side there is a lot more software readily available for Windows, the biggest plus point of Linux is the majority of distros are FREE. There a lot of support forums out there, which are friendly to the novice user. As you've already installed Fedora, I'd suggest you stick with it for while then make your own mind up, ultimately it is your decision whether it agrees with you or not. Good luck !!!

"better" is a relative term - depends on what you consider "better". It's probably more stable, maybe even faster, and definitely cheaper. BUT, it takes a lot of time to get to know. Which some may see as "not better".

If you have time to learn a new OS, then go with Fedora. If you are not at all into computers and just want email, etc. then go with windows.

1st thing is linux is entirely different from windows, if u have never ever used linux in ur life then u will feel its difficult to understand. install it feel it for some days n conclude it for ur self. but as a matter of fact linux is far more stable than windows.
